To help get your kids to eat healthy.....try having them help you prepare meals, shop at the grocery store, and come up with ideas of what to make.................
Memory: One childhood memory I have is of me and my little sister trying to make cookies. My mom would only let us have a few cookies, so one afternoon we decided to try it ourselves. I took the bowl to the bathroom and Cherice went and got the ingredients. We added everything we had seen her add to the cookies but we got a little mixed up between the salt and the sugar..............a very fun memory. Let your kids help you create in the kitchen, so they learn to love all different kinds of food!

RECIPE BOX: Have your kids make their very own recipe box. Color, Paper Mache, Glitterize etc... Use the recipe cards on this website (under KIDS) or create your own by simply using power point! Have them decorate a box and then help them cut out the cards! This is a fun idea of ways to get kids involved with foods and cooking! Then help them prepare a recipe from their very own recipe box!
